Recently, Xiaomi announced that it will be introducing its latest Mi series smartphones called the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro at an event in its home market of China on February 13th. Ahead of the launch, the company teased the upcoming handset a number of times. Recently, the Chinese electronics giant released the first official render of the Xiaomi Mi 10. The image revealed that the next-gen Mi flagship offering will be arriving with a premium design and a curved screen. Now, the company has revealed a few more details regarding the Mi 10’s screen as well as the battery.
Xiaomi Mi 10 specifications and features
As per the brand, the Xiaomi Mi 10 will utilise an AMOLED screen panel that will be able to reach a peak brightness of 1,120 nits. The display of the device will have a high screen refresh rate of 90Hz. Notably, the handset will feature a touch sampling rate of 180Hz, which will help the device to minimise the input lag. The screen will be arriving with HDR10+ support and cover the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Lastly, the device will have a contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1, DC Dimming, and a blue light filter.
Moving on to the details of the battery, the company has announced that the phone will be featuring a large 4,500mAh battery. The battery will support 50W fast charging in wired mode, which will fully charge it in just 45 minutes. In addition, the phone will support 30W wireless rapid charging. Furthermore, the brand said that the handset will be able to provide 10W reverse wireless charging to let you charge other devices by placing them on top of the back of the phone.
Earlier teasers from the brand suggested that the handset will have a punch-hole display. The device will be featuring a quad primary camera setup at the rear. The flagship will be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 865 processor. The handset is confirmed to flaunt a 108MP primary camera, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0 type storage, and Wi-Fi 6 8 x 8 MU-MIMO support.
Xiaomi Mi 10 price and availability
Recent leaks have suggested that the base variant of the Xiaomi Mi 10 will carry a price tag of around Rs 43,000, while the most expensive model will set you back by approx. Rs 50,000. We will have official details from the event tomorrow, so stay tuned.
