Xiaomi launched its latest flagship line-up comprising of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro earlier this year. The smartphones flaunt features like Snapdragon 865 SoCs, curved AMOLED displays and 90Hz refresh rates with 180Hz touch sampling rates. The Mi 10 was set to launch in India on March 31st, but this was postponed due to the coronavirus lockdown. While we await the launch of the Mi 10 in India, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite 5G in Europe on March 30th. Now, the brand is all set to launch the same smartphone in its home market of China, rebranded as the Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition. Pricebaba has managed to get information on the RAM and storage configurations of the device for China, as well as the colour variants, courtesy of popular tipster Ishan Agarwal.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Youth Edition variants and colours
According to Agarwal, Xiaomi will offer the Mi 10 Youth Edition in China in four variants – 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. In Europe, the brand launched the Mi 10 Lite 5G in three distinct colour options including Green, Gray, and White. However, it seems that China will get different colour variants, with the Mi 10 Youth Edition to be offered in Black, White Peach, Blueberry Mint, Milk Green, and Peach Grapefruit paint jobs. Xiaomi will also sell two cases including a Geometric Protective Shell and Transparent Gradient Case.

Since the Mi 10 Youth Edition will be a rebranded version of the Mi 10 Lite 5G, we can expect the core specifications of the handset to remain the same. As such, the smartphone will feature a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch and full HD+ resolution. Powering the handset will be the Snapdragon 765G that comes with an integrated 5G modem. The processor will be accompanied by up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. Out of the box, the smartphone will boot MIUI 11 based on Android 10. The smartphone will feature a 4,160mAh battery under the hood, with support for 20W fast charging.
The camera setup of the handset will include a 48-megapixel f/1.8 primary lens, 8-megapixel wide-angle, 5-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies and video calling, the phone will offer a single 16-megapixel shooter in the front.
