Xiaomi today held its Mi 10T series global launch through an online event. The brand announced three new smartphones in the line-up including the Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro and Mi 10T Lite. As is evident from the nomenclature, the Mi 10T is the stripped-down variant of the first two.
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite is the world’s first smartphone to come with the Snapdragon 750G mid-range chipset. The smartphone also offers 5G connectivity. Other headlining features of the smartphone include a 120Hz display, 64-megapixel quad cameras, and a 4,820mAh battery.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite specifications and features
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC with 5G connectivity. Xiaomi is offering the Lite model in two variants – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. Out of the box, the phone runs MIUI 12 with Android 10 and is powered by a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging.
The rear panel of the smartphone houses a quad-camera module with 64 -megapixel primary camera, 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and 2-megapixel macro unit. In the front, the punch-hole cutout houses a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
Connectivity options include 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC and GPS. Xiaomi has omitted 3.5mm audio jack from the smartphone.
Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite price and availability
Xiaomi is offering the Mi 10T Lite at €279 (~Rs 24,000) for the 6GB + 64GB model and €329 (~Rs 28,400) for the 6GB + 128GB variant. The smartphone will go on sale in Europe starting October 13th. As of now, there’s no word on the Indian availability of the device.
