Xiaomi launched its Mi 10T series of flagship comprising the Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro earlier this month in India. These smartphones are the successors to the Xiaomi Mi 10 that was launched in May this year. The main differentiator between the two new launches is the primary camera on the back.
The Mi 10T Pro features a 108MP primary camera and Snapdragon 865 SoC just like the Mi 10, but brings an improved 144Hz display. Pricebaba received the flagship offering ahead of the launch and we have been using the handset for some time now. Here’s our first impressions of the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro.
The Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro ships with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD display with full HD+ resolution. The screen has been equipped with features like 20:9 aspect ratio, MEMC support, HDR10, and an adaptive refresh rate up to 144Hz. Protecting the display is a layer of Gorilla Glass 5.
At the core, the Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro has the flagship Snapdragon 865 SoC with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Out of the box, the handset boots MIUI 12 based on Android 10 and since it’s a Tier 1 android device, it features the default Android apps for dialer, messenger and browser, among others. Powering the smartphone is a 5,000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.
In the imaging department, the phone features a 108-megapixel primary camera backed by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 5-megapixel macro lens. On the front, the smartphone features a 20-megapixel selfie camera. Xiaomi has loaded the camera app with features such as HDR, night mode, screen flash, AI scene detection, AI beautify, AI portrait mode, and 120fps HD slow-motion shooting, to name a few.
