The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite is launching soon in India. Xiaomi India’s Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain confirmed its arrival on Twitter. Announced originally in March for global markets, the Mi 11 Lite is Xiaomi’s thinnest smartphone to date.

Apart from sporting a thin and lightweight design, the Mi 11 Lite will come with other key specs like a 90z display, Snapdragon 7-series chipset, 64-megapixel triple cameras, and a large battery.

Jain has shared an image to showcase the slim design of the Mi 11 Lite. It is already known that the handset measures 6.81mm in thickness and it weighs around 157 grams. The company is expected to confirm its launch date soon.

Xiaomi had launched the Mi 11 Lite 5G alongside Mi 11 Lite in March. Reports have claimed that the company plans to bring only the Mi 11 Lite 4G to India.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite has a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with a punch-hole design, which offers an FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Snapdragon 732G chipset, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging.

The Mi 11 Lite has a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 5-megapixel (macro) triple camera system and a selfie snapper of 16-megapixel. Other features of this phone include MIUI 12 based on Android 11, a microSD card support, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and IP53 rated chassis. The handset is expected to arrive in three variants such as 6GB RAM + 64GB storage, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage in India. It may carry a starting price of between Rs 23,000 – Rs 25,000.
