Xiaomi is all set to launch the Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra at a ‘Mega Launch’ event on March 29th in China at 7.30pm local time. The brand had announced the launch event yesterday and today it revealed the arrival of the upcoming smartphones.
The Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra will join the Mi 11 smartphone that had debuted in December last year. The Weibo poster doesn’t reveal anything about the smartphones but Xiaomi has teased the devices will officially challenge the title of ‘Android King’.
Apart from the confirmed Mi 11 Pro and Mi 11 Ultra, it’s unclear whether the Mi 11 Lite will also be launched at the same event. It might be announced later for the China-only market. We will know more details next Monday at the launch event.
Mi 11 Ultra specifications and features (rumoured)
The Mi 11 Ultra has been spotted on various certification sites apart from the hands-on leaked YouTube video. The upcoming smartphone will be a top-of-the-line offering in the Mi 11 lineup and also the successor to last year’s Mi 10 Ultra.
The Mi 11 Ultra will reportedly come with a 6.9-inch WQHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will feature a small secondary screen on the right side of an elongated camera bump. The device is also expected come with IP68 certified water and dust resistant rating.
The Mi 11 Ultra is rumoured to feature a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GN2 sensor along with a 48MP wide-angle lens and a 48MP periscope unit. The upcoming smartphone will be powered by a Snapdragon 888 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 67W fast wired and wireless charging.
