Xiaomi unveiled the world’s first Snapdragon 888-powered smartphone, the Mi 11 in December last year. The allegedly beefed-up variant of the flagship called Mi 11 Ultra has been doing the rounds of the Internet for a while now and was recently spotted in a hands-on video. Now, the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has been spotted on the website of Indonesia Telecom Certification.
The listing confirms that the smartphone is indeed in the works and the global launch might be closer than expected. The hands-on video by the Filipino YouTuber, Tech Buff PH revealed all key specs of the smartphone including a bizarre tiny secondary display on the rear camera module.
Xiaomi Mi Ultra appears on Indonesia Telecom Certification
The listing on the Indonesia Telecom Certification website doesn’t reveal the name of the handset. However, the model number shown in the listing is M2102K1G, which matches the model number on the back of the device shown by the YouTuber in his video.
This confirms that the listed smartphone could be the much-anticipated Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra. However, no other information about the handset has been revealed by the listing.
Xiaomi Mi Ultra specifications and features (rumoured)
The same YouTuber revealed in his video that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch WQHD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. The handset will come with IP68 water and dust resistant certification. The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is likely to be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor with 5G connectivity. The rumours suggest that the phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery 67W fast wired and wireless as well as 10W reverse charging support.
The camera module on the back is said to feature a 50MP main shooter, a 48MP wide-angle sensor and a 48MP periscope zoom lens. On the front, the phone is expected to have a 20MP selfie camera. The hands-on video revealed a text that reads ‘120x Ultra Pixel AI Camera’, confirming 120x zoom and AI imaging. Additionally, there was a tiny secondary display on the right side of the camera module.
