Xiaomi Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 charger launched in India: price, list of supported devices

Earlier this month, Xiaomi launched a palm-sized power bank in India. It is called the Mi Pocket Power Bank Pro. Now, the Chinese brand has expanded its range of smartphone accessories in the country. The latest offering is the Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 charger along with a cable combo.

The latest offering is an upgrade over the 27W Sonic charger that debuted alongside the Redmi K20 series last year. Currently, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Mi 10T, Mi 10T Pro as well as POCO M2 Pro and POCO X3 support 33W fast charging. Xiaomi also offers a 18W Dual Port charging adapter.

The Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 charger follows last year’s 27W SonicCharge charger

As the name suggests, the Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 charger supports up to 33W fast charging speed. It is compatible with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0. The device is a Made in India product and is certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The charger is capable of intelligently regulating power output depending on the device. It features a minimalistic design as well.

The Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 charger comes with surge protection of up to 380V and supports universal voltage range of 100 – 240V. Apart from support for 33W charging, the device is also compatible with smartphones that support 18W and 27W charging speeds. 

Xiaomi is also bundling a USB Type-A to USB-C port cable with the latest Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 charger. The charging cable is 1 meter long. 

Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 Charger price in India

Xiaomi has priced its Mi 33W SonicCharge 2.0 charger at Rs 999. It is already available for purchase on mi.com in White colour and carries a 6-month warranty. Meanwhile, the 27W SonicCharge adapter and 18W Dual Port charger cost Rs 549 and Rs 599 respectively.
