Xiaomi’s Mi Band disrupted the way we use fitness trackers. The latest Mi Band 4 has been subject to rumours and leaked renders in the past. Now, MySmartPrice has published alleged real life Mi Band 4 photos.
Going by the leaked images, the Mi Band 4 borrows design cues from its predecessor, the Mi Band 3. The fitness tracker features an oval-shaped display, however, the circular button seems to be replaced by a smaller capacitive touch button.
The biggest change of all is the colour display. Yes, Xiaomi has finally swapped the monochrome display on the Mi Band 3 with a colour display.
On the connectivity front, the Mi Band 4 will offer Bluetooth 5.0, and an NFC variant. In all likelihood, the NFC variant will allow us to use Mi Pay in India and China. That apart, MySmartPrice also claims that the band will support Xiao AI, Xiaomi’s digital assistant. Previously leaked information suggested a larger battery, at 135mAh battery compared to the Mi Band 3’s 110mAh unit.
Xiaomi is likely to price the Mi Band 4 between $30-$40 (Rs 2076- Rs 2,769). Xiaomi is expected to launch the Mi Band 4 in the later part of this year and until then we hope the company betters their software experience.
