The latest poster comes from Xiaomi’s official Smart Life Weibo handle in China. The poster image showcases the fitness band in four colour options including green, red, yellow and black. In terms of design, the Mi Band 5 appears quite similar to the last year’s Mi Smart Band 4.

In the image, we can see that the Mi Band 5 features the same pill-shaped display, but with reduced bezels and a larger screen to body ratio. The display is rumoured to be a 1.2-inch AMOLED unit. Moreover, as you look closer you can see the capacitive one-touch home button in the lower part of the display. A period tracking function is also visible in the image.

Rumours suggest that the Mi Band 5 will feature NFC mobile payments, this time on the global variant as well. Recent rumours also suggest that the Mi Band 5 will come with five new exercise modes including  yoga, elliptical machine, indoor rowing, indoor cycling and rope jumping.

Additionally, the Mi Band 5 is rumoured to feature an SpO2 sensor to measure bloody oxygen levels and integrated support for Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant. Lastly, the wearable might offer a remote shutter functionality to click pictures from your smartphone.

The new teaser reveals that the Mi Band 5 will launch in China at 2pm (11.30am IST) on June 11th.
