Xiaomi Mi Band 7 key specifications and features have been leaked courtesy of publication XDA Developers. The fitness tracker is expected to debut this month in China. It will arrive as the successor to last year’s Xiaomi Mi Band 6 (review).
The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is tipped to come with a bunch of upgrades over its predecessor. The device has codename L66 and is listed with model numbers M2129B1 and M2130B1.

The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 is said to pack various improvements over the current Mi Band 6. The upcoming offering will reportedly feature a larger display bearing a 190 x 490 pixel resolution. However, the exact screen size remains a mystery. To jog your memory, the Mi Band 6 features a 1.56-inch display. The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 will come with an always-on display mode as well as a host of new watch faces.
In terms of health-centric features, the report adds that the Xiaomi Mi Band 7 will come with workout modes like Zumba, Aerobics, etc. It is also tipped to be equipped with a built-in GPS. However, its inclusion remains unclear since the Mi Band 6’s firmware also suggested a built-in GPS, but the final product shipped without the feature.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 7 will also pack a Smart Alarm feature that will automatically wake up the user from light sleep 30 minutes before the predefined alarm. The upcoming fitness tracker is said to come with Power Saving mode to extend the battery life of the smart band.
