Xiaomi Mi Beard Trimmer with IPX7 rating launched in India for Rs 1,199

Xiaomi has a large ecosystem of lifestyle appliances in its home country of China apart from smartphones and electronics, and is now expanding its range in India as well. The company will be celebrating its five year anniversary in the country next month, and has announced that it will launch five products in the country to commemorate the occasion. The company has been running a marketing campaign on its social media handles with the tagline “BeardbutBetter”. Today, Xiaomi has gone ahead and launched the Mi beard Trimmer in India.

Xiaomi Mi Beard Trimmer price in India

The Xiaomi Mi Beard Trimmer is available on starting today. It will be available on open sale via Amazon India and Mi Home stores across the country starting June 27th at 12pm. Interested buyers will have to shell out Rs 1,199 to get a hold of one of these. Xiaomi is offering the beard trimmer in a single black hue.

Xiaomi Mi Beard Trimmer features

Xiaomi claims that the quad-edge design of the Mi Beard Trimmer is extremely ergonomic, which makes it easier to hold while shaving. The trimmer is IPX7 certified, which means it can survive underwater up to 1 metre for 30 minutes, making it a washable appliance. Additionally, the trimmer features stainless steel blades with 0.5mm precision and “self-sharpening” technology. The blades are rounded to make it skin-friendly and avoid accidental nicks or cuts. Xiaomi is also providing two combs with the Mi Beard trimmer with support for 40 lengths (0.5mm – 20mm), making it an ideal trimmer for all beard types.

There’s a LED battery indicator and a full charge can provide up to 90 minutes of usage. Xiaomi claims that the trimmer can provide 10 minutes of usage with just 5 minutes of charging, which is ideal for a quick shave. The Mi Beard Trimmer offers both corded and cordless operation with support for charging through a powerbank with the provided cable. The Xiaomi Mi Beard Trimmer also comes with a Mi-branded carry pouch and travel lock.
