UPDATE: The TENAA listing of Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro has now been updated with its front and rear images. The front view of the phone reveals that it has a waterdrop notch dis splay. However, what’s exciting about it is that it curves towards its right and left edge.
Xiaomi had introduced the Mi CC9, Mi CC9e and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition smartphones in July. The Chinese manufacturer is now gearing up to launch Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro with penta-lens setup on its rear. Yesterday, it confirmed that the Mi CC9 Pro will be made official on November 5th and today its entire specs have appeared through its TENAA listing. The Chinese firm has also confirmed the configurations of the rear-facing cameras of the upcoming Mi CC9 phone.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro specifications and features
The Xiaomi M1910F4E phone that has bagged approval from TENAA authority seems to be the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro. The listing lacks images of the phone, but it has revealed its entire specifications. It is fitted with a 6.47-inch OLED display. It offers full HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,340 pixels and a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display of the phone is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint reader.
The M1910F4E smartphone is powered by an octa-core processor that is clocked at 2.2GHz. The handset has also appeared on Geekbench with a processor that features a base frequency of 1.8GHz. These findings suggest that it could be powered by Snapdragon 730G processor. The smartphone is expected to arrive in RAM options such as 6GB, 8GB and 12GB, and storage models like 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. There is no support for a microSD card on the device.
The phone boots to Android 9 Pie and is likely to come with the latest MIUI 11 interface. The handset has a hefty battery of 5,170mAh. The 3C appearance of the phone has revealed that it could be shipped with 30W fast charger. There are rumours that claim that Mi CC9 Pro will carry support for up to 20W fast wireless charging.
For snapping selfies, the Mi CC9 Pro will offer users a 32-megapixel front camera. The above official poster by the company reveals everything about the rear-facing camera system of the phone. It states that the Mi CC9 Pro is equipped with a penta-lens camera system. The first sensor is a periscope lens that will enable support for 5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom and 50x digital zoom on the Mi CC9 Pro. The second one is a 12-megapixel portrait lens with a 1.4micron pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. It carries support for dual PD autofocus.
The third lens is the 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor with f/1.7 aperture. A 20-megapixel 117-degree field-of-view ultrawide lens follows it. The fifth sensor is a super macro lens with 1.5cm focal length. The penta-lens setup is assisted by a two dual-LED flash units. Xiaomi has revealed that the 108-megapixel primary camera and periscope lens both carry support for optical image stabilisation (OIS). It appears that the Mi CC9 Pro could be available as the Mi Note 10 outside China.
Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro pricing and availability
The launch event of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro will be held on November 5th at 2pm in China (11.30am IST). The event will be also used to announce Xiaomi Mi Smartwatch and Mi TV 5. The smartphone is expected to arrive in multiple colour options such as black, red, blue, pink, white, green, purple and gray. Rumours suggest that it may arrive with a starting price of RMB 2,199 (~Rs. 22,000).
