Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro price and specifications leaked, reveal 108MP camera and Snapdragon 730G

The Mi CC9 series was introduced in China in July by Xiaomi. The lineup included the Mi CC9, Mi CC9e and Mi CC9 Meitu Custom Edition phones. Recent reports reveal that Xiaomi may launch the more powerful Mi CC9 Pro in its home market on October 24th. The Chinese firm has neither confirmed the launch date nor released any information on the existence of Mi CC9 Pro. However, a new leak has revealed key specs of the phone along with the pricing for its different variants.

The Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro is rumored to come with a waterdrop notch AMOLED display that offers full HD+ resolution. Like the other Mi CC9 series phones, the upcoming Pro model is also expected to feature an in-display fingerprint reader. The Gorilla Glass 6 panel could be present on the front of the phone, while its rear could be protected by Gorilla Glass 5.

The Mi CC9 Pro could be powered by the 8nm Snapdragon 730G. It may come with up 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of native storage. For shooting selfies, it may posses a 32-megapixel Samsung GD1 sensor.

The back panel of the Mi CC9 Pro could feature a triple camera setup with Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright HMX 108-megapixel primary lens, an ultrawide 8-megapixel lens and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens. The leak specifically mentions that the Mi CC9 Pro won’t support OIS. The handset could be backed by a 4,000mAh battery that will be coupled with 27W fast charging technology. The leak also mentions that the phone will arrive with support for 20W fast wireless charging technology.

Other rumours surrounding the Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro states that it may come with a big 6.5 inch display. Also, it may come with some other features like an IR blaster, NFC connectivity and Android 10. The handset may measure 9mm in thickness and it may weigh around 180 grams.

Xiaomi Mi CC9 Pro pricing and availability

Xiaomi is expected to release the Mi CC9 Pro in three models in China. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model base model could be priced at RMB 2,199 (~Rs 22,000). The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant may cost RMB 2,399 (~Rs 24,000) and the higher 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model could be priced at RMB 2,699 (~Rs 27,000).
