Xiaomi Mi Home Security Camera Basic 1080p Launched For Rs 1,999

Xiaomi has launched a new smart home product in India, the Mi Home Security Camera Basic 1080p. The company had earlier teased the device on its Twitter handle. Xiaomi already sells the Mi Home Security Camera 360 for Rs 2,699 in India. Let’s take a look at the newly launched device:

Technical Specifications:

The Mi Home Security Camera Basic 1080p as the name suggests can record video in in 1080p resolution with a maximum frame rate of 20fps. It sports a 130-degree ultra-wide angle lens for optimum coverage, minimising blind spots. The device features AI motion detection that eliminates false alarms like curtain movements, light changes and insects. It offers infrared night vision up to 10 meters. The Mi Home Security Camera Basic also comes with a talkback feature for two-way audio communication.

The companion app features a with picture-in-picture mode that lets you keep a tab on your child when you are multitasking on your phone. Users can also monitor their entire house i.e. view multiple rooms from their phone easily.

The Mi Home Security Camera Basic comes with a microSD card slot (supports minimum 16GB and maximum 64GB) for storing recorded video. It also features features NAS storage functionality. The device features Wi-Fi connectivity on the 2.4GHz band.
