Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55-inch Price Slashed by Rs 2,000

Xiaomi launched the 55-inch Mi LED TV 4 Pro with a price tag of Rs 49,999 in September 2018. On Twitter, Xiaomi India’s Managing Director, Manu Kumar Jain has now announced a permanent price cut of Rs. 2,000 on the device. The price cut for the TV comes just a day after Samsung launched three new Super 6 Series UHD TVs priced between Rs 41,990 and Rs 61,990.

With the newly announced discount, the Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55-inch is now available for purchase at a price of Rs 47,999. It is available with the revised pricing via Mi.com, Flipkart and Amazon.

With a thickness of 4.9mm, Xiaomi claims that the Mi LED TV 4 Pro 55-inch is the world’s thinnest Android TV. The massive 55-inch 4K display of the Mi TV Pro is surrounded by super-slim bezels. It offers a wide viewing angle of 178-degrees along with a refresh rate of 60Hz.

The 55-inch Xiaomi Mi TV Pro is powered by a 64-bit AmLogic Cortex A53 quad-core processor along with Mali-450 graphics. The SoC is coupled with 2GB of RAM. It features an inbuilt storage of 8GB.

The Mi TV Pro 55-inch is fitted with 20W stereo speakers enabled with DTS-HD sound. The smart Android TV by Xiaomi is equipped with a pair of USB 2.0 ports, three HDMI slots, an Ethernet port, an AV port and a S/PDIF port. For connectivity, the TV features Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi support. The PatchWall UI-based Android OS runs on the device. It also includes support for Google services like Google Assistant, Play Store, YouTube and inbuilt Chromecast.
