Xiaomi Mi LED TV 4X PRO 55, Mi LED TV 4A PRO 43 and Mi Soundbar Launched In India

Earlier this month, Xiaomi teased the launch of its new TV on its Twitter handle. A day ahead of its launch, a teaser page of the new TV hinting at a big screen appeared on Flipkart. Today at a launch event, the company announced three products for the Indian market – the Mi LED TV 4X PRO 55, Mi LED TV 4A PRO 43 and Mi Soundbar. Let’s take a look at each device:

Mi LED TV 4X PRO 55:

The Mi LED TV 4X PRO 55 is an enhanced variant the Mi TV 4 55-inch model. The 4X PRO sports the same 55-inch display panel bearing a 4K resolution of 4,840 x 2,160 pixels. It features a 60Hz refresh rate and comes with HDR support. For audiophiles, the 4X PRO comes with Dolby audio support and 20W speakers. Design-wise, the device flaunts narrow bezels for an immersive viewing experience. It comes in Metallic Grey finish which gives a premium look. 

In terms of hardware, the 4X PRO is equipped with the latest quad-core 64-bit Amlogic chipset paired with a Mali-450 GPU onboard. It packs 2GB RAM and offers 8GB internal memory. The 4X PRO features 7th Gen imaging engine, dynamic noise reduction, and can play videos in up to 4K at 60fps.

The Mi TV 4X PRO is a Smart LED TV and runs on Xiaomi’s custom PatchWall OS built on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box along with an Android TV option. Users will be able to switch to Android TV and have access to a broad range of Google content and apps from the Play Store. Xiaomi has also added a new intuitive screen off feature along with AI-based voice recognition. The TV also comes with 12-button remote with Bluetooth and dedicated voice button. Users can also change channels on the set top box via the remote. 

Mi LED TV 4A PRO 43:

The Mi LED TV 4A PRO 43-inch is an upgrade to the existing model launched last year. It comes with a similar 43-inch FHD panel with 60Hz refresh rate. The latest model comes with powerful 20W speakers with DTS codec support. It also features the PatchWall interface based on Android 8.1 along with Android TV. It has multiple connectivity options including 3 HDMI, 3 USB, AV, Ethernet, WiFi, SPDIF, Headphone jack and latest Bluetooth. 

Mi Soundbar:

Alongside the launch of new TVs, Xiaomi has launched a Mi Soundbar as well. The device was launched in China last year. The soundbar is equipped with eight sound units. It comprises of two 20mm dome speakers, two 2.5-inch woofers, and four passive radiators for a stellar sound experience. The Mi Soundbar features five connectivity options which include Bluetooth 4.2, S/PDIF, an optical port, line-in and a 3.5mm Aux-in. Xiaomi claims that the Mi Soundbar can be set up in a mere 30 seconds.  

Pricing & Availability:

The Mi LED TV 4A PRO 43-inch bears a price tag of Rs 22,999. The 4X PRO 55 will retail at Rs 39,999. Xiaomi has priced the Mi Soundbar at Rs 4,999. As for availability, the first sale of both the Mi TVs will happen on January 15th at 12pm on Mi.com, Flipkart and Mi Home stores. The Mi Soundbar will be available via Mi.com and Mi Home stores starting from January 16th at 12pm.
