Xiaomi Mi Max Prime With 4GB RAM Launched in India For Rs 19999

Xiaomi launched the Mi Max Prime, an upgraded variant of its mid-range phablet Xiaomi Mi Max which was launched in June 2016. The Mi Max Prime differs in terms of RAM, storage capacity, chipset, and price. All other specs, however, remain as it is.

The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime features a massive 6.44-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 344 PPI pixel density. What powers the gadget is a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Octa-Core processor and Adreno 510 GPU for graphics.


It houses 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The storage capacity is further expandable up to 128GB via a hybrid SIM slot. The device has a 16-megapixel primary camera on the back with Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture.

The camera supports features such as HDR, panorama, burst mode, and face recognition. It can record up to 1080p Full HD videos at 30 frames per second (FPS). It also houses a 5-megapixel front shooter for all the selfie lovers out there.

This is a Dual-SIM device and packs in a 4850mAh non-removable battery. It runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with MIUI8 on top. In terms of connectivity, the Xiaomi Mi Max Prime supports Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, Infrared, and microUSB 2.0.

The Xiaomi Mi Max Prime has a fingerprint scanner on the back, which can be used to unlock the phone and apps that are locked. It also comes with a number of sensors such as Accelerometer, Gyro, Proximity, and Compass. Available in Silver and Gold color options, the Xiaomi Mi Max Prime comes at a price of Rs. 19,999.
