Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 smartphone has been into the news for quite a while now. We got to know a couple of months ago that the company was not planning on launching the device anytime soon. This, however, changed later on as the company hinted at a potential launch in the future. Now, the 6GB variant of the Mi Mix 4 has hit the Geekbench database which suggests a possibility of the device launching in the days to come.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 6GB RAM variant appears on Geekbench
The alleged Mi Mix 4 has managed to score 717 in the single-core test and 2,784 in the multi-core test. Furthermore, we can see the device running on Android 9 which makes sense as the company has not revealed any plans of the Android 10 update so far.
Furthermore, the device is seen running on a 1.78GHz Qualcomm chipset which, if the rumor mill is to be believed, could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 856 SoC. As said, the processor is backed up with 6GB of RAM. This, however, won’t be the only memory variant and we would most certainly see higher RAM variants of the device too.
As of now, the presence of the Mi Mix 4 is not confirmed, plus the Geekbench database can easily be faked, so we might as well take this news with a pinch of salt. That said, if the device indeed exists, we might soon be getting more intel on the same.
Nevertheless, the company’s upcoming Redmi K30 smartphone is launching on December 10 and as the company officials have already confirmed that we would be getting up to 10 5G smartphones by Xiaomi in the year 2020, we can only hope that the Mi Mix 4 would be one of them.
