Xiaomi unveiled its first bezel-less phone dubbed Mi MIX last month along with the Mi Note 2. Now, there are rumors that Chinese phone maker Xiaomi is working on a smaller variant of the MI MIX, allegedly the Mi MIX Nano. Even though Xiaomi has not come up with any confirmation, the said device has already surfaced online in a series of live images.
If rumors are to be believed, the Xiaomi Mi MIX Nano features a 5.5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD resolution. It is powered by a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor paired with 4GB RAM. The device comes with an internal storage of 64GB. There is a possibility that Xiaomi may also unveil another variant of the Mi MIX Nano with 6GB RAM and 128GB memory capacity.
The Xiaomi MI MIX, on the other hand, flaunts a bigger 6.4-inch IPS LCD capacitive display with 2040 x 1080 pixels 2K resolution. What powers it is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It embraces two variants — 4GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB of RAM with 256GB of memory.
The company has already said that it has no plans to launch the Mi MIX and Mi Note 2 in the Indian market. Hence, hence it is highly unlikely that it the Mi MIX Nano will launch in India. The phone is rumored to be priced around 2,999 Yuan (approximately Rs 29,699).
