Xiaomi is organising an online event to launch its Redmi Note 9 series including the Redmi Note 9 Pro, Redmi Note 9 Pro Max and the all-new Redmi Note 9. While the first two have already launched in India and will find their way to other global markets, the Redmi Note 9 is a brand new device and should arrive in India soon, as hinted by a recent BIS listing. The Redmi Note 9 happens to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 10X which will be launched in China.
Now, in an official post, Xiaomi has announced that the same event will also witness the global launch of the Mi Note 10 series including the Mi Note 10 and Mi Note 10 Lite. Notably, the Mi Note 10 is the rebranded Mi CC9 Pro, launched for the European markets last November. The Mi Note 10 Lite, just like Redmi Note 9, is a brand-new addition to the series and appears to be a toned-down variant of the Mi Note 10.
Xiaomi Mi Note 10 Lite launch date
Xiaomi announced the launch date for the Mi Note 10 series through an official post on Mi Community forums. The brand also shared an official image of Mi Note 10 Lite alongside the Mi Note 10. We can see that the Lite variant will share its design with Note 10. However, there is a rectangular camera island on the back seemingly housing a quad-camera setup with dual-LED flash.
Notably, the Mi Note 10 comes with a 108MP penta-camera setup on the back. According to a leak last month, the Mi Note 10 Lite was expected to feature five cameras including a 64MP primary sensor and two telephoto cameras. However, the official render suggests that it will feature a quad-camera setup with a 64MP primary camera, wide-angle, telephoto and depth sensor.
The render shared by the brand also reveals that the handset will be offered in black, white, and blue colour variants. The launch event will be live-streamed on April 30th at 5.30pm IST.
