- Xiaomi is set to launch a refreshed Mi Notebook with a backlit keyboard
- The upcoming offering is also expected to be powered by an upgraded 11th-gen processor
- The announcement comes ahead of the Realme Book Slim launch in India
Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a refreshed Mi Notebook in India. The upcoming offering has been teased by the company’s Chief Business Officer Raghu Reddy on his Twitter handle. The brand had entered the laptop segment last June with the launch of Mi Notebook 14 and 14 Horizon Edition.
In addition to the executive’s tweet, various reports and teasers from last month also suggest that an upgrade to last year’s Mi Notebook 14 series could be just around the corner. However, Xiaomi is yet to officially announce the launch date of its next laptop.

As per Reddy’s tweet, the refreshed Mi Notebook will feature a backlit keyboard that was missing from the first generation lineup. A backlit keyboard is found on most mainstream laptops these days. The announcement comes just ahead of Realme’s first laptop launch in India, which will also feature a backlit keyboard. The upcoming Realme Book Slim will launch on August 18th in India.
