While many smartphones these days come with Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection, this only helps to prevent minor scratches and scuffs. Therefore, it’s quite common for new buyers purchase to purchase a tempered glass screen guard to protect the screen from cracks and big scratches. While tempered glass protectors have traditionally been made by third party vendors, smartphone maker Xiaomi is getting into the business with the Mi Protective Glass for the recently launched Redmi Note 8 Pro. It is available for purchase on Xiaomi’s online store at a price tag of Rs 399.
