Xiaomi Mi Router 4C launched in India for Rs 999

Xiaomi had launched its first Mi Router 3C way back in 2017 in India. Today the company announced its latest router dubbed as Mi Router 4C. It retains most of the specifications from its predecessor. The latest router also carries an affordable price tag. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features below:

Mi Router 4C specifications and features

The Mi Router 4C features a minimalistic design and comes in only a White colour option. The latest router is equipped with four high-performance omnidirectional antennas that are capable of delivering speeds up to 300Mbps. Xiaomi says that the antennas provide an increased operating range and a stronger signal. 

The Mi Router 4C packs 64MB RAM and is capable of connecting up to 64 devices which is claimed to be eight times more than a typical router. The router comes with 16MB storage. The Mi Router 4C can be controlled via the Mi W-Fi app allowing users to monitor the network, blacklist unwanted internet activity and block suspicious devices. The app is compatible with Android and iOS devices. Additionally, IoT devices can also be connected and controlled through Wi-Fi. 

The Mi Router 4C features Wi-Fi optimisation and users can boost the Wi-Fi speed and reduce bandwidth bottlenecks with just a tap. The device can also be used as a repeater with a built-in mode in addition to an existing router and extending the network coverage range in the home. The Mi Router 4C supports 802.11n, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi protocols. It also offers Parental controls that let users see what children can and cannot see through Wi-Fi connected devices.
