Xiaomi launched the Mi Band 5 in China last month. The fitness tracker arrived as the successor to the popular Mi Band 4, and brought in upgraded specifications and features. Now, the brand has launched another fitness tracker in China, but this time it’s an affordable offering and a re-branded Redmi Band.
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C has been launched a more affordable variant of the Mi Band 5. The Mi Smart Band 4C features a 1.08-inch screen, constant heart rate monitoring and long-lasting battery life as its key selling points. The fitness tracker has been launched in Malaysia as a contender for the Realme Band.
Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C specifications and features
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C is equipped with a 1.08-inch TFT display with a resolution of 128 x 220 pixels. The colour display comes with a maximum brightness of 200 nits. Powering the Mi Smart Band 4C is a 130mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to 14 days on a single charge. There’s an in-built USB plug, which can charge the Mi Smart Band 4C completely in around two hours, as per the brand.
As for the health and fitness tracking features, the Smart Band 4C is equipped with a heart rate sensor, which can monitor your heart rate 24/7. Additionally, the fitness tracker can track five activities, including fast walking, treadmill running, outdoor running, cycling and regular workout.
Other features of the fitness tracker include incoming call alerts, notifications, sedentary reminder and more. The fitness tracker comes with a waterproof rating of 5ATM, which means it can survive in water up to 50 metres for 10 minutes.
Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C pricing and availability
The Xiaomi Mi Smart Band 4C is already up for sale in Malaysia for MYR 99 (~Rs 1,700). As of now, there’s no word on the launch date in other markets, including India.
