Xiaomi has expanded its range of monitors in its home market of China with the launch of two new products. The first one is the Mi Surface Display 34-inch, which is a gaming-centric monitor. The other one is the Mi Display 23.8-inch, which is just a regular monitor. With the former, the company has entered in a new category of gaming-centric monitors. The Mi Surface Display 34-inch features a curved screen with a high refresh rate of 144Hz. As for the Mi Display 23.8-inch monitor, this one features the regular flat screen panel and minimalistic design.
Mi Surface Display 34-inch specifications and features
The Mi Surface Display 34-inch gaming monitor comes with a large curved screen featuring an aspect ratio of 21:9, a screen resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 pixels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and 1500R curvature. The monitor comes with AMD’s Freesync feature, a low Blue-ray mode, and a colour gamut of 121 percent sRGB. Design-wise, the monitor has a bracket that lets you make adjustments for lifting and rotating the display.
Mi Display 23.8-inch specifications and features
As for the Mi Display 23.8-inch model, this one features full HD display resolution and a wide-viewing angle of 178-degrees. This monitor has a regular design with control buttons that are placed on the right side bottom panel. The device has a cylindrical bracket, which lets you adjust the viewing angle but it doesn’t let you adjust the screen vertically. The monitor features a minimalistic design with just the brand’s branding, an HDMI port, and the power supply port at the back.
Mi Surface Display 35-inch and Mi Display 23.8-inch prices
The Mi Surface Display 34-inch has been priced at RMB 2,499 (~Rs 25,140). As for the Mi Display 23.8-inch model, it costs RMB 699 (~Rs 7,000). The new Xiaomi monitors will go on sale in China from October 21st.
