Now 91mobiles has learnt via tipster Ishan Agarwal that Xiaomi is soon set to launch the Mi Watch Revolve and Mi Band 5 in the country. As per Agarwal, the Mi Watch Revolve will a rebranded version of the Mi Watch Color in China. The Mi Band 5 is the successor to last year’s Mi Band 4 (review).

If the latest report is true, the Mi Watch Revolve will be Xiaomi’s first smartwatch in India. The device is tipped to come in Silver and Black colour variants. It will compete against the likes of Amazfit, Huawei and Realme in the country. As for pricing, the Mi Watch Color costs RMB 599 (~Rs 6,400) while the Band 5 retails at RMB 189 (~Rs 2,000) in China. We expect the upcoming offerings to be priced similarly in India. There is no official word on the launch date yet. To recall, the Mi Band 4 was launched in September last year, so we expect the Mi Watch Revolve and Mi Band 5 to debut at the same time.

Mi Watch Revolve specifications and features

The Mi Watch Revolve is expected to retain the same specifications and features as the Mi Watch Color that is offered in China. The device features a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED display. It offers a 24 x 7 heart rate monitor, sleep tracker and 10 different sports modes. It also comes with in-built GPS, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC and 5ATM water-resistance rating. The smartwatch runs the WearOS-based MIUI and is backed by a 420mAh battery unit.

Users can control their smartphone camera with a new remote-control feature on the Mi Band 5.
