Xiaomi Mi Wireless Powerbank with 10,000mAh battery launched for Rs 2,499

Xiaomi has launched a new wireless charging power bank in India. Notably, the brand does not have any smartphone under the Redmi or Mi series in India that supports wireless charging. The Mi 10 series is set to launch globally on March 27th. Xiaomi states that the Mi Wireless Powerbank will work with Qi-compatible devices. To recall, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi had also launched power banks last month. The Mi Wireless power bank comes with a 10,000mAh battery unit. Let’s find out more about the device below.

Mi Wireless Powerbank specifications and features

The Mi Wireless Powerbank features a lightweight design and a 10,000mAh lithium-ion polymer battery.  It is equipped with 12-layer circuit protection that shields smartphones from overheating, short-circuit, metal foreign object detection, over current, battery over-charge and discharge, chip thermal shutdown and electrostatic protection. There is an LED indicator beside the charging ports. 

The power bank comes with a USB-A output port and USB-C input port with support for 18W fast charging. For wireless charging, the device offers a 10W charging speed. It is compatible with all Qi-certified smartphones, including iPhones, Galaxy S series devices, Google Pixel phones and more. Users can charge two devices at the same time, even while charging the power bank itself.
