Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro are expected to launch in 2023, claims a new report by Xiaomiui. The publication has scoured through the Mi code to share key details about both tablets.
According to the report, the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro have Pipa and Liquin codenames, respectively. The vanilla variant has the M82 model number, whereas the Pro edition has the M81 model number. The Pro model is likely to remain exclusive to the Chinese market. However, the Pad 6 is expected to launch in China, India, and the global market.
Xiaomi Pad 6 specifications (rumoured)
According to the publication, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 mobile platform. Unfortunately, the report has no information on the specifications of the device. However, it states that the Pad 6 could be similar to the Xiaomi Pad 5 Pro 12.4, which is exclusively available in China. The tablet offers a 12.4-inch IPS LCD 120Hz display, an SD870 chip, 50-megapixel dual cameras, a 20-megapixel front camera, and a 10,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro specifications (rumoured)
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will arrive with an AMOLED screen that produces a resolution of 2,880 x 1,880 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is unlikely to feature an under-display fingerprint scanner. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset will be present under the hood of the Pad 6 Pro.
The Pad 6 Pro’s dual-camera setup will include a depth sensor for portrait shots. It is expected to pack other features like four speakers, NFC connectivity, and Pen and keyboard support.
