It runs Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9.6, and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. It features dual-SIM cards with dual-VoLTE, and also gets a dedicated microSD card slot for expansion. The Redmi 6A is the most affordable smartphone of the lot. It sports a Helio A22 processor, and a 13MP rear camera. It is available in two configurations – 2GB + 16GB and 3GB + 32GB. The rest of the specifications are identical to the Redmi 6.
Coming to the pricing, the Redmi 6 Pro is priced at Rs 10,999 for the 32GB variant and Rs 12,999 for the 64GB model. It will be available in Red, Blue, Gold and Black hues, and will go on sale starting September 11th via Amazon and Mi.com. The Redmi 6 retails for Rs 7,999 for the 32GB model, and Rs 9,499 for the 64GB version. It will go on sale starting September 10th via Flipkart and Mi.com. The Redmi 6A costs Rs 5,999 for the 16GB variant and Rs 6,999 for the 32GB version, and goes on sale starting September 19th on Amazon and Mi.com. Xiaomi has said that the prices for the Redmi 6 and 6A are introductory prices for two months, and these are liable to increase if the rupee further depreciates. The Redmi 6 and 6A will be available in a choice of Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Lake Blue hues.
