The Redmi Note 10S will launch in India on May 13th at 12pm. The event will be live-streamed on the company’s social channels as well as Mi.com. The company had recently teased the arrival of the smartphone in the country.
The launch date announcement was shared by Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain on Twitter. Xiaomi has also put up a dedicated event page on its website revealing key specifications of the upcoming smartphone. The Redmi Note 10S had debuted globally in March this year.

The event page reveals a rectangular camera module housing quad-sensors. There is a centre-aligned punch-hole cutout on the front and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The smartphone is IP53 rated for dust and water-resistance. The Redmi Note 10S Indian variant is expected to come with the same specifications as its global counterpart.
Redmi Note 10S specifications and features
The Redmi Note 10S offers a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen bearing FHD+ resolution. It features a 13MP front-facing camera. The smartphone sports a quad-camera setup on the back consisting of a 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro and a 2MP depth unit.
The Redmi Note 10S is powered by a MediaTek Helio G95 processor. It is offered in three RAM and storage configurations of 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. The smartphone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. It ships with Android 11 based MIUI 12.5 out of the box. The phone will be positioned below the Redmi Note 10 Pro in the country, which is priced starting at Rs 15,999. Therefore, we can expect the Redmi Note 10S to come with a sub-Rs 15,000 starting price.
