Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series is set to launch in China tomorrow. Ahead of its official debut, the sub-brand has teased a host of key specifications on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo.

The upcoming Redmi Note 11 series will arrive as the successor to the Redmi Note 10 series that was launched earlier this year. The lineup of the latest offerings comprises a standard variant, Pro and Pro+ models. Read on to know what we know about the Redmi Note 11 lineup so far.

The Redmi Note 11 series will launch in China tomorrow

The Redmi Note 11 lineup of smartphones will be unveiled on October 28th at 7pm local time i.e. 4.30pm IST. Readers can watch the livestream on Xiaomi’s official website and Redmi Weibo handle. 

Xiaomi already offers its Redmi Note series in India, however, there is no word on the Note 11 lineup’s existence in the country at the moment. Its predecessor was launched in March this year, hence we can expect the latest offerings to launch in India by early 2022.

Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the price of the Redmi Note 11 series at the time of writing this post. However, as per a Chinese tipster, the standard variant will reportedly start at RMB 1,199 (~Rs 14,000) whereas the Pro and Pro+ models are tipped to carry a starting price tag of RMB 1,599 (~Rs 18,700) and RMB 2,199 (~Rs 25,700) respectively. 

We will learn about the smartphone’s pricing at the launch event tomorrow.

The Redmi Note 11 series is already up for pre-registrations on and Xiaomi Mall. The smartphones are slated to go on sale soon after their pricing is announced.

According to the Weibo teasers, the Redmi Note 11 series will feature a boxy form factor but Xiaomi says that the smartphone is quite thin measuring 8.34mm. The brand also revealed that smartphones will come with ultra-narrow bezels and a 2.96mm front-camera cutout. The Redmi Note 11 series sports a Redmi 10 Prime-like rectangular camera module and an AG (anti-glare) glass back panel that is claimed to be scratch and fingerprint-resistant.

The Redmi Note 11 series will house a 3.5mm audio jack, an IR Blaster, a microphone, and a JBL-powered speaker grille at the top. The bottom of the device will accommodate a USB-C port while the power and volume rocker buttons are located on the right side of the smartphone.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series is teased to come with a center-aligned punch-hole display featuring an AMOLED panel. It will offer a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. The entire lineup is said to come with a DCI-P3 colour gamut, 360-degree light sensor, and eye protection. 


The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series will come with triple rear cameras paired with an LED flash. However, the exact sensor configuration remains unknown at the moment. The company has teased a 108MP primary sensor with 9-in-1 pixel binning technology, 12,000 x 9,000 resolution, and dual-ISO technology. It remains to be seen which Redmi Note 11 device will come with a 108MP camera lens.

Internally, the upcoming Redmi Note 11 series is teased to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor but the exact model in the lineup remains a mystery. The upcoming offering will also pack a VC cooling system under the hood. Additionally, the Redmi Note 11 lineup is said to come with a 4,500mAh battery unit with support for TUV Rheinland certified 120W fast charging. The smartphones are confirmed to come with WiFi-6, Bluetooth 5.2, and 5G connectivity options. 

As per the e-commerce listings, the Redmi Note 11 series is expected to arrive in 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB RAM and storage configurations.

Apart from the confirmed presence of Dimensity 920 processor under the hood, the standard Redmi Note 11 is tipped to be powered by a Dimensity 810 SoC whereas the more premium Pro+ variant is reported to be equipped with a Dimensity 1200U chipset. The three smartphones are expected to come with 33W, 67W, and 120W fast charging support. The vanilla Redmi Note 11 is tipped to feature dual rear cameras of 50MP + 2MP sensors while the Pro and Pro+ models will come with a triple camera setup comprising a 108MP primary lens paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2MP depth unit. On the front, all three smartphones are rumoured to come with a 16MP selfie snapper.
