Yesterday, Xiaomi had teased that it will be introducing a red colored version for an existing Redmi phone. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has confirmed the arrival of the Red variant of the Redmi Note 5 Pro through its Redmi India Twitter handle.

Xiaomi had launched the Red edition of the Redmi Note 5 Pro in China in the month of June and the same color variant has now been introduced in India. According to the tweet, Xiaomi has already started with the sales of the Red colored Redmi Note 5 Pro. The company is selling only limited stocks of the new color variant of the smartphone. Hence, customers who are interested in purchasing are advised to act soon.
As can be seen below, the Redmi Note 5 Pro variants such as 64 GB storage + 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage + 6 GB RM are both available in the newly introduced Red variant. Apart from the new color, the Note 5 Pro can be bought in other colors like Black, Blue, Gold and Rose Gold. The 4 GB and 6 GB RAM editions of the smartphone are respectively priced at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,999.
The Redmi Note 5 Pro was the first phone to arrive with Snapdragon 636. It houses a 5.99-inch IPS LCD screen with Full HD+ resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The 4,000mAh battery of the phone supports fast charging. For snapping photos, its features a 12-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual camera system. Its front-facing 20-megapixel camera can be used for shooting AI enhanced selfie shots.
