Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched a new smart TV in its A-series in China. The lineup already comprises of 32-inch, 43-inch, 50-inch and 55-inch display variants. The latest offering is the largest smart TV in the A-series with a 65-inch screen. It is dubbed as the Redmi Smart TV A65.

The Redmi Smart TV A65 sports a 65-inch screen with thin bezels and a 178-degree field of view. The display bears 4K UHD resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. It comes with HDR support and a 60Hz refresh rate. On the audio front, the television is equipped with two 8W stereo speakers with support for DTS: HD decoding.
The Redmi Smart TV A65 is powered by a quad-core Cortex-A53 processor paired with Mali G52 GPU. The TV packs 1.5GB RAM and offers 8GB onboard storage. Software-wise, it runs on MIUI and ships with pre-installed apps like app store, calendar, game centre,
Connectivity options on the Redmi Smart TV A65 include Wi-Fi, IR support, two HDMI ports (one with ARC), two USB ports, an Ethernet port and audio output. The smart TV is also compatible with Airplay and Miracast.

The Redmi Smart TV A65 is priced at RMB 2,599 (~Rs 28,247) and can be purchased through JD.com and Xiaomi Youpin in China. There is no word on the global availability of the Redmi Smart TV A65.
