These are the Xiaomi phones which have received a price cut in India

It has been five years since Xiaomi entered the Indian market. The Chinese firm is now celebrating its fifth anniversary in the country by announcing price cuts on several its smartphones. Since the last few days, the company has been announcing a discount for one of its phones each day. Xiaomi also announced that the Redmi 6A will be available on open sale starting at 12am today. Let’s take a look at the new prices:

Xiaomi Mi A2

The Xiaomi Mi A2 has received a price cut of up to Rs 3,000 on both variants. Previously, the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants were retailing for Rs 15,999 and Rs 18,999 respectively. With the price cut, these variants are now priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively. The Mi A2 can be purchased at, Amazon, Mi Home and offline stores.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro

The Redmi Note 5 Pro which was launched in February 2018 has recevied a price cut on the 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB models. The variants which were priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 15,999 respectively will now be available for Rs 12,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is available via Mi.Com, Amazon, Flipkart, Mi Home and offline stores.

The Redmi Y2 selfie-centric smartphone was announced in November last year. At that time, the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage models were priced at Rs 9,999 and Rs 12,999 espectively. With the new discount, the prices of the both models have dropped to Rs 8,999 and Rs 10,999 espectively. The handset is available for purchase through, Amazon India, Mi Home and offline stores.

Xiaomi Redmi 6 Pro

The 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage editions of the Redmi 6 Pro were introduced in the market with price tags of Rs 10,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. Now, the 3GB RAM edition of the smartphone is available for Rs 9,999 while the 4GB RAM variant can be bought for Rs 11,999. It is also available for purchase through and Amazon India.

Xiaomi Redmi 6

At the launch, the Redmi 6 was priced at Rs 7,999 and Rs 9,499 for the 32GB and 64GB variants respectively. The price of the 32GB edition of the phone was increased to Rs 8,499 in November. With Xiaomi India’s fifth anniversary discount, both models are now respectively priced at Rs 7,999 and 8,999 on, Flipkart, Mi Homes and offline stores.

Xiaomi Redmi 6A


The entry-level Redmi 6A with 16GB storage and 32GB storage had arrived in India for Rs 5,999 and Rs 6,999 respectively. Since its launch, the handset has been available through flash sales. Starting from midnight tonight, the Redmi 6A will be available on open sale via, Amazon and Mi Homes.
