Xiaomi tipped to foray into the desktop PC segment

WCCF Tech reports that the Xiaomi Mini Host PC features a small form factor design. It is seen in a barebone state with just an XM22AL5X PSU with a power output of 100W. The device has a sleek matte Black chassis. It’s unclear whether Xiaomi will use Intel or AMD hardware. There is a ‘Win+M’ combo shortcut on the nameplate on the chassis. It usually minimizes all windows, but we can also expect some more customisations.

We can spot dual-slot dedicated desktop GPUs and a mechanical switch on the back of the Mini Host PC. The device could also feature a heat dissipation system.

The other PC system has a Mac Mini-like squarish design and form factor. It will reportedly feature a 45W AMD Ryzen 7 6800H APU with RDNA2-based Radeon 680M graphics. The device is tipped to pack 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. This device is claimed to be priced at RMB 3,999 (~Rs 47,000).
