Xiaomi Watch S2 has been announced in China. The flagship watch from the brand went official alongside other products, such as the Xiaomi 13 series, Buds 4 TWS earbuds, Mini Host PC, and MIUI 14. The Watch S2 has a round-shaped dial and comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes.
The Watch S2 comes equipped with stainless steel and a silicone strap. The leather strap version of the smartwatch comes in silver and light gold colours. The Xiaomi Watch S2 comes in 42mm and 46mm sizes. The former has a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with 326 ppi pixel density and a 305mAh battery. The 46mm edition, on the other hand, gets a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with 356 ppi pixel density and a 500mAh battery.
The round-shaped display on both models of the Watch S2 supports a 466 x 466 pixels resolution. The 42mm variant offers up to 7 days of battery life, while the 46mm can last for up to 12 days on a full charge. The Watch S2 is compatible with devices running Android 6.0 or higher and iOS 12.0 or higher. It features a microphone and a speaker for its Bluetooth calling feature.
The Watch S2 is equipped with multiple sensors, such as a heart rate sensor (including blood oxygen), acceleration sensor, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, air pressure sensor, ambient light sensor, temperature sensor, and a capacitive sensor for wear detection. There is a bioelectrical impedance analysis sensor, which helps in gauging body fat rate, bone salt content, and metabolic rate. The smartwatch comes with support for GPS and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. Lastly, it offers 5ATM water resistance.

The 42mm Xiaomi Watch S2’s silicone and leather strap variants are priced at RMB 999 (~Rs 11,800) and RMB 1,199 (~Rs 14,200), respectively. The two strap variants of the 46mm model cost RMB 1,099 (~Rs 13,000) and RMB 1,299 (~Rs 15,400), respectively. At present, there is no word on the Indian launch of the Watch S2.
