Apple started the trend of shipping phones without chargers, and many Android smartphone manufacturers like Samsung have followed suit. Xiaomi stopped bundling chargers with certain Mi branded smartphones last year, but the affordable Redmi line still came with bundled charging adaptors.
Xiaomi India’s official page for the Redmi Note 11 SE has confirmed that the recently announced smartphone will ship without a charger in the box. This will be the first time a ‘Redmi’ branded smartphone comes without a bundled charger. The package will include the phone itself, a USB-C cable, a SIM ejector tool, a protective phone case, a quick start guide, and the warranty card.
The Redmi Note 11 SE is set to go on sale on August 31 via Flipkart and Xiaomi India’s official website.
