As part of this offer, customers can purchase the annual subscription of ZEE5 Premium for just Rs 499. The offer is valid till the end of this month.

The 50 percent discount on ZEE5 Premium subscription is available from February 13th to February 28th. From March 1st, the service will once again be available for Rs 999. The discount is only applicable on annual subscription. The one month and three-month plans will continue to be available for Rs 99 and Rs 299, respectively.

According to Omdia, ZEE5 had 2.7 million paid subscribers as of December 2020. The platform reportedly saw a huge growth from 1.99 million subscribers earlier.
With this offer, ZEE5 should see further strength in its paid subscribers number. Subscription business has seen a boom due to pandemic enforced lockdown and OTT platforms have been the key beneficiary. With registered users of over 63 million, ZEE5 would be hoping to convert some of these users into paid subscribers.

With ZEE5, ZEE is preparing for a cord cutting scenario where people go digital for all their content needs.
