Zopo Mobile, a China-based smartphone company declared a replacement warranty on all its devices purchased on or after October 1st 2016. As a part of this offer, customers can now avail a replacement against their faulty Zopo phones under particular terms and conditions. However, the warranty is applicable for only 365 days from the date of purchase.
Zopo made it clear that phone warranties are non-transferable. Hence the company will not be able to pass it on from one customer to another. Also, customers will not be eligible for this replacement warranty unless the device was purchased through Zopo India or an authorized Zopo dealer/retailers.
Accidental damage isn’t covered by the manufacturer warranty, Zopo said it will not be able to cooperate with customers in case of liquid or physical damage. In addition to this, customers cannot avail this offer if the damage is caused by dropping, modifying or tampering the device.
Zopo further said that customers will be subject to nonrefundable out of warranty charges if they don’t disclose accidental damage. In order to get the replacement done, customers need to establish a contact with the company. If possible, the company will first try to resolve the problem before replacing your device.
According to Zopo CEO Kevin Xu, the company is aimed at upgrading its approach towards customer service in addition to maintaining the integrity of the brand. Recently, Lava came up with a one-year screen replacement offer to attract more customers ahead of this year’s busy festive season.
