After launching the Color X 5.5 in India recently, Zopo has unveiled its latest entry-level budget smartphone dubbed Color M4 at the event held in Lucknow. It costs Rs 4,999 and comes in Peach, Matte White, Caribbean Blue, Indigo and Charcoal Black colours.
Specs-wise, the Zopo Color M4 comes with a 4-inch 480p TFT display. Inside is a quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor clocked at 1.3GHz alongside Mali-T720 GPU for graphics.
Furthermore, it includes 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal memory that can expand up to 64GB through microSD. The dual-SIM phone runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
Camera-wise, it houses a 5-megapixel primary sensor on the rear with LED flash. Up front is a 2-megapixel secondary camera for selfies. It packs in a 1,450mAh battery and connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS.
Speaking at the launch, Zopo India’s Sandeep Tomar, said: “This new model, the Color M4 will be a big hit, as there is no competition present at this price for the same specifications. A high standard VoLTE product is offered by no other international brand in India at the same price.”
In other news, Indian cell phone brand Intex appears to be pretty aggressive these days with its strategy towards affordable phones. In the past couple of months or so, Intex introduced numerous affordable handsets including the recent Elyt-E1.
