[Update] April 14th, 2021: The ZTE Axon 30 5G has now been spotted on the popular benchmarking website, Geekbench. The smartphone scored 3,718 in the multi-core test and 1,128 in the single-core test. The listing reveals ‘Lahaina’ SoC (codename for the flagship Snapdragon 888), Android 11, and 8GB RAM.
The ZTE Axon 30 5G has appeared on the Google Play Console. The device is listed with model number A2022 and codename P875A02. The listing reveals key specifications of the upcoming offering and also gives us a look at the design. In related news, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra 5G had passed Bluetooth SIG certification yesterday.
ZTE is scheduled to launch the Axon 30 series in China on April 15th. The lineup is expected to consist of standard, Pro and Ultra variants.
ZTE Axon 30 5G spotted on Google Play Console listing
As per the Play Console listing, the ZTE Axon 30 5G is expected to arrive as a flagship device. The upcoming smartphone is seen featuring a centre-aligned punch-hole display. The volume rocker and power buttons are located on the right side of the phone.
As for the specifications, the listing reveals that the Axon 30 5G features FHD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. It offers a pixel density of 480 ppi. The listing reveals it will be powered by the Qualcomm SM8350, which is the Snapdragon 888. It comes with an Adreno 660 GPU and 8GB RAM. The upcoming offering will run Android 11 out of the box.
Apart from this, the Play Console listing doesn’t reveal any other specifications of the Axon 30 5G. We will learn more details at the launch event tomorrow.
In other news, ZTE revealed the key specifications of the Axon 30 Ultra on Weibo ahead of tomorrow’s launch. The smartphone is confirmed to arrive with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with 144Hz refresh rate, liquid cooling tech, and 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging. The upcoming offering is also confirmed to sport 64MP triple cameras paired with a periscope lens.
