ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G with second-generation under-display camera teased
As mentioned before, the ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G has been teased by Ni Fei, who is the President of Mobile Devices at ZTE. Fei shared top half of the upcoming smartphone to showcase the next-generation of the under-display camera on the flagship. We can’t make out much about the device from the image as it’s seen clad in a bulky protective cover usually meant to hide the identity of yet-to-be-launched devices.
In his post, Ni Fei mentions second-generation display claiming that the “effect of the second-generation screen is not one or two.” While the post is quite cryptic, the popular tipster Digital Chat Station has confirmed that the device shared by Ni Fei is indeed the ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G. He also reveals that apart from an under-display camera, the phone will also feature an optical fingerprint scanner.
While not much is known about the upcoming flagship yet, it’s expected that the ZTE Axon 30 Pro will also be the first Snapdragon 888-powered handset to feature an under-display selfie camera. We will know more in the coming days when the smartphone goes official.
