ZTE has launched a new mid-range device in China dubbed as the Blade A7. The device is up for pre-booking on e-commerce portal JD.com and will start shipping from May 17th. The base variant is priced at 599 Yuan (~Rs 6,140) while the 3GB+64GB will cost CNY 699 (~Rs 7,170). Let’s take a look at the device below:
On the display front, the ZTE Blade A7 sports a large 6.08-inch screen bearing HD+ resolution. It features a waterdrop notch on the top for the front camera. The device can be availed in two standard colour variants – Night Black and Sea Blue, and a Star Black gradient colour option.
The ZTE Blade A7 comes with a single 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. It supports AI intelligent scene recognition. Up front, there is a 5MP snapper for clicking selfies. The device relies on face unlock through the front camera in place of the absent fingerprint scanner.
On the hardware front, the ZTE Blade A7 is powered by a MediaTek Helio P60 processor. It is paired with either 2GB RAM or 3GB RAM depending on the user’s usage. The former packs 32GB inbuilt storage while the later offers 64GB internal memory, both expandable up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The device is backed by a 3,200mAh battery unit. The ZTE Blade A7 functions as a dual-SIM smartphone and offers 4G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for connectivity.
There is no information about its availability in the Indian market yet.
