ZTE recently confirmed that it will be launching the ZTE Axon 20 5G as the world’s first smartphone with an under-display camera technology on September 1st. Ahead of its arrival, the company has taken the covers off a new low-budget smartphone called the ZTE Blade V2020 Smart.
The Blade V2020 Smart comes with a massive display and it houses a quad camera system on its back. The big form factor of the phone allows it to house a huge battery. The phone also comes with a generous 128GB of internal storage.
ZTE Blade V2020 Smart specifications and features
The Blade V2020 Smart has a polycarbonate body. It measures 173.4 x 78 x 9.2mm and weighs 204g. The phone houses a 6.82-inch IPS LCD screen with a waterdrop notch. The screen features 720 x 1,640 pixels HD+ resolution and a 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The company claims that the Blade V2020 Smart offers 90.2 percent screen to body ratio.
The Unisoc SC9863A SoC is present under the hood of the Blade V2020 Smart. The SoC is assisted by 4GB of RAM. The phone comes with a native storage of 128GB. It has a microSD card slot onboard for additional storage.
The ZTE Blade V2020 Smart has an 8-megapixel front camera. The square-shaped camera module on the rear of the smartphone has a 16-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor.
The Blade V2020 Smart runs Android 10 . It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery. The support for reverse charging allows it to function like a power bank and charge other devices. A fingerprint sensor is positioned on the rear shell of the device. The connectivity features available on the Blade V2020 Smart include dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, OTG, USB-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Blade V2020 Smart is priced at RMB 899 (~Rs 9,700) and it comes in single dark grey colour. There is no word on whether the phone will be coming to markets outside of China.
