Chinese consumer technology brand ZTE has announced another variant of its Blade V7 series dubbed as ZTE Blade V7 Plus. The Blade V7 series was first introduced last year and the company has already unveiled its successor Blade V8 series earlier this year. Now, it seems to be very strange for the company to launch a variant of the series introduced a year ago.
Specs-wise, the ZTE Blade V7 Plus puts on a 5.2-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Additionally, the display also gets 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, lies an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset ticking at 1.3GHz. Accompanying the processor, there are Mali-T720 MP3 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The phone offers 16GB of inbuilt storage further expandable via a MicroSD card up to 32GB. It runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow and packs in a 2,500mAh battery. ZTE claims it to offer up to 9 hours of talk time and 220 hours of standby time.
For shutterbugs, the ZTE Blade V7 Plus sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. Up front, there’s a 5-megpixel snapped for capturing selfies. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth, and 3.5mm Audio Jack. It is a Dual SIM phone and also extends support for 4G LTE connectivity. The handset also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The smartphone is launched Russia and Australia with two colours options – Platinum Grey and Ion Gold. As of now, the phone isn’t launched in any other market and we’re not expecting to come to India either.
