Nubia is all set to launch the Z17 Mini. The device is said to be a successor to the Nubia Z11 Mini and is said to have a dual camera setup. The new phone will be announced on 21st Mar but the leaks have already started rolling in.
The Z17 Mini sports a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device is physically bigger than the Z11 it replaces. The biggest change is the dual camera setup on the back which comprises of two 13-megapixel Sony sensors. It is not known if the second camera at the back will be used for magnification or to enhance the output of the image (monochrome sensor). At the front, the Z17 mini is said to sport a 16-megapixel camera for selfies.
The phone does pack in some really good hardware. It comes in two variants, one with Snapdragon 652 with 4GB of RAM and the other with Snapdragon 653 with 6GB of RAM. These phone will be available in black and gold. There is also a blue color version with a Snapdragon 653 and 4GB of RAM.
Regardless of the processors, the phone will come with 64GB of internal storage. It will be powered by a 3000mAh battery and sport a USB Type-C port with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The device also sports a fingerprint scanner on the front.
While the China launch is nearby, and the device is expected to be priced at CNY 1,899. While it is not known if the Z17 Mini will make it to India, the price translates to roughly Rs. 18,000.
