Lava Iris Pro 30 is a 4.7 inch smartphone bearing a HD Screen of resolution 1280x720 pixels. Motorola Moto G has a 4.5 inch HD Display with the same resolution. Both these devices have a 300+ PPI that result in good sharpness. Under the hood, there is a 1.2GHz Quad-core MediaTek processor in Lava Iris Pro 30 while there is a 1.2GHz Quad-core Snapdragon S400 Processor. While they may seem similar, benchmarks suggest that the Snapdragon 400 scores considerably better than the Mediatek 6589 chip. Both these devices have 1GB RAM, which is sufficient enough to smoothly multi-task. There is 4GB internal memory in Lava Iris Pro 30 which can expanded upto 32GB by using a microSD card. Moto G comes in two variants — 8GB and 16GB but there is no memory card slot.

Lava Iris Pro 30 features a 8 Megapixel rear camera with flash and a 3 Megapixel front camera for video calling/taking selfies. It can record Full HD videos at 1080p. Moto G sports a 5 Megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 Megapixel front camera for video chatting. It can record HD videos at 720p. Both of them have a support for 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. Iris Pro 30 has 2000mAh battery while Moto G has a fairly similar 2070mAh battery. While the Iris Pro 30 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, the Moto G is already on the latest Android 4.4 KitKat.
