- No dedicated graphics for a machine with 'Pro' in its name
- Expensive after sales service, warranty upgradation and accessories
- Aluminum prone to heating upon heavy usage, scratches are more apparent
- Dust collects easily under the exhaust right below the display, hard to clean
- No legacy connectors like an RJ-45 LAN or an optical drive

Solid machine, much lighter than the older MacBook pro. No DVD drive and I don't need it either. Thank god for USB ports on both side and the SD card slot being retained. A HDMI port too, phew. Apple gave everything you could have asked for.
Pros
- All SSD memory
- Terrific retina display, just don't go for an Air
Cons
- 8GB RAM / CPU reaches its limit at times when under load (just browsing)

The MacBook Pro is one good laptop. it is very portable and very lightweight. It is best for corporate purposes. But is also expensive. This laptop is not so good for gaming
