Honor 6X is the latest addition to Honor’s mid-range family, succeeding last year’s Honor 5X. Looks wise, it flaunts a metal body design mixed with a bit of plastic on the rear top and bottom. The device measures 150.9 x 76.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs 162 grams.
Honor 6X sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with 1,980 x 1,020 pixels Full HD resolution and 2.5D curved glass on top. The display further has 71.8% screen-to-body ratio and the pixel density of 401 pixels per inch. Since Honor 6X falls under the category of smartphones featuring bigger display, some users may find it difficult for one-handed use. Some of the display features include ambient light sensor, multi touch, and proximity sensor.
Honor 6X is powered by a 2.1GHz octa-core Huawei HiSilicon CPU, combined with 3GB RAM as well as Mali-T830 GPU. It packs in 32GB internal storage. If you find this storage insufficient, you can also expand it up to 256GB with the help of a microSD card.
Honor 6X houses a 12MP rear autofocus primary shooter with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The camera is also capable of recording 1080p Full HD videos. Some of the camera modes and features include slow-mo, smile detection, voice control and more. Up front, there is an 8MP secondary camera for taking selfies. It also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Honor 6X is the dual-SIM phone with two Nano SIM card slots. You can use either two Nano SIM cards or one Nano and one microSD card simultaneously. The smartphone is backed by Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Emotion UI 4.1. Under the hood is a 3,340mAh battery.
